I purchased this CD a year ago, listened, didn't get a feel for it and tossed it in the junk pile of CDs. About a month ago, I decided to take it with me in the car and give it a new try. Wow, what an amazing mix that it had.

In these days of overproduced MTV nonsense, when acquiring the "punk rock" moniker is unbelievably easy (Good Charlotte, New Found Glory), extreme radicals who spend more time on stage preaching than playing (Anti-Flag) and aging punk rockers who rarely progress in their art (Bad Religion, NOFX), Ted Leo and his Pharmacists should be unanimously welcome in the independent music scene.
