Alter Bridge: Not just Creed with a New Lead Singer.
Joseph Curulla | Ritz Manager
| Published 09/24/04
Alter Bridge: take 1 Creed band; remove lead singer; add previous bassist; finally, add new lead singer. Stir, and let settle. Alter Bridge has done an amazing job in my opinion. So far in fact that I wouldn't be surprised to see them perhaps get recognition for high selling record.

Bad Religion Aren't in Wheelchairs Just Yet
David Barker | Staff Writer

With "The Empire Strikes First," the legendary Bad Religion proves that middle-age has no effect on the punk rocker mentality. Even after 22 years worth of music, this bandís message is a still million times clearer than the skies over their hometown of Los Angeles. Always loaded with political sentiment, leftist propaganda and harsh inquiries of humanity, Bad Religionís place in the punk rock scene (commercial or not) is unquestionable. "The Empire Strikes First" is yet another reason why the bandís lengthy career has yet to be in jeopardy while many of their peers see their demise in less than half a decade.

Tim McGraw Concert
Melissa Carty | Staff Writer

I went to the Tim McGraw in concert On Sept. 11 at the Roanoke Civic Center. It was a very awesome concert plus having third-row seats was really great as well. The only problem was there was absolutely no where to park. So, we ended up having to park on Jefferson Street since the parking lot was full. Obviously, the concert was sold out.
