Bands Battle for Kids

Tri-Sigma's Cara Odlen and Megan Nelson organized the Battle of the Bands that took place on Dec. 2 in Heth Ballroom. Odlen, Nelson, and the rest of Tri-Sigma hosted the event to raise money for their National Philanthropy, the Robbie Paige Memorial Fund.

Free Labor for One Summer

Wondering how that job will really be in the real world? The only way to find out is to intern. But nowadays, internships are more than just grabbing coffee and running the errands that no one else wants to do. They have definitely changed for the better. Some interns are still unpaid but receive more hands on experience to their future job.

Permission to be Gay

Students in West Jordan, Utah need permission to be gay. How is that for attention getting? The local principal has required gay couples to have parental permission before attending dances. Is he doing a service to parents, or stepping on their rights as individuals?
