Along with the start of classes comes the question, "Should or shouldn't I rush/pledge?" Each fall semester, you can see posters promoting each sorority and fraternity on campus.

Unlike in the Spring, only a few new members are chosen. For many who can't rush in the Fall, this is an opportunity to go to the interest meetings to get a better idea of what the sorority/fraternity represents.

"Right now (they) mostly have interest tables on campus, try to wear letters on campus and attend other functions, like sports, to get their name out," explained Ashley Ferguson, a Zeta Tau Alpha sister.

"I would also suggest to attend as many interest parties as possible, come with good questions in mind, and don't be afraid to be yourself. Also it's important to look at a sorority at times other than interest parties, like on campus for example, because you want to see how they act in other settings," commented Ferguson.

There are many options for Greek life on campus. Not only are there social sororities and fraternities, but there are academic fraternities as well. Many majors have a co-ed fraternity and are looking for new members of that major.

Greek life is all over Radford at the moment, whether it is found in academic or social life. For more information on a fraternity or sorority visit their table in front of Heth Hall. If you are interested in academic fraternities, see a faculty member from that major.
