My Three Favorite Audreys 1. Audrey Tautou Audrey Tautou is an actress born in Beaumont, France. The main role she is known for over here in the United States would be the movie "Amelie." Please, watch it in the original French with English subtitles; her voice is superb. Guys, if you have a woman and she has not seen "Amelie," you will gain major sweet points for sitting her down and watching this movie. Also, you will finally understand my penchant for her: those eyes, lips, hair, voice, body language. All of that makes Audrey Tautou number one on my celebrity dark hair/dark eye crushes. 2. Audrey Hepburn What would any list of celebrities be without pulling out a classic actor/actress? Too many people nowadays don't know the history and are only engaged in the contemporary with short-sighted appreciation. Audrey Hepburn, born to an English father and Dutch mother, is a very, very close second on my list. She can be seen in such films as "Roman Holiday," "Funny Face" and "Charade." Her elegance, class and energetic persona are what draw me to this Princess of Cinema. I believe my favorite character of hers is Regina Lampert in "Charade," where she stars opposite of Cary Grant. Watch this movie, guys. It has Audrey Hepburn, action, romance, suspense, thrills and a surprise ending. Those of you who can't appreciate classic movies, stay away from this. You won't like it, and you'll just be spitting out blasphemous criticism. 3. Audrey Horne (Sherilyn Fenn) OK, so this one is sort-of cheating. Actress Sherilyn Fenn plays the character of Audrey Horne in David Lynch's 1990 TV series "Twin Peaks." Her character lights up the screen. She is mischievous, intriguing and almost fatalistic. In the end, she finds love and becomes a very whole character. While I initially took to her as eye candy, it was her gracious persona that capped off this celebrity crush. I have not seen Sherilyn Fenn in any other film or television role, but I would definitely be curious to see what she's done in the last 14 years. However based solely on her "Twin Peaks" performance as Audrey Horne, Sherilyn Fenn makes number three on my list. Well folks, that is the list of my top three dark haired/dark eyed actresses and the roles that catapulted them onto my humble list. I recommend to anyone to watch all three movies/series, for you will find yourselves in front of incredible cinema, great story plots and lively characters.
