Founded in 1991 as a part of the Cracker Barrel Old Store Incorporated
group, Logan's Roadhouse currently has 96 company-owned and 16 franchise
restaurants in 17 states.
Logan's opened about a year ago in my hometown, and since then I have
visited that place at least thirty times or more. Everytime I've been, I
always find myself leaving with a very satisfied attitude. I have never
once had a problem or a complaint with the service at Logan's. Logan's
Roadhouse is one of the best steakhouses ever because of its great menu
selection, the honky-tonk atmosphere and its clean facilities.
First, one of the main reasons I love Logan's Roadhouse is because of
all the delicious items that are on the menu. Logan's has a wide variety
of food including my absolute favorite: a variety of U.S.D.A. choice,
aged steaks that are hand-cut on the premises. Other dishes include:
baby-back ribs, mesquite-grilled chicken, seafood and salad.
When you first sit down, they give you a bucket of peanuts and bring you
fresh hot yeast rolls. They also have some of the greatest appetizers
which include: loaded potato skins, hot wings, enormous nachos, hot
spinach & artichoke dip, crispy fried chicken tenders, hand-battered
fresh mushrooms and onion petals. Munching on all of these keeps you
satisfied until your meal arives, which usually doesn't take long.
They offer a kid's menu for children under twelve that are accompanied
by an adult. If you aren't full after your meal, they have a bunch of
desserts to choose from. They have a variety of non-alcoholic and
alcoholic drinks to offer at the bar, including their famous Long Island
Iced Tea. Not only is the food great, but they don't charge you an arm
and a leg for the meal.
Logan's is one of my favorite places, because I love its old fashioned
country atmosphere. From the second you pull into the parking lot, you
can tell that it's a good, down to earth, country-living kind of place.
When you first go inside, you'll notice that Logan's atmosphere makes
you feel very welcomed. The host and hostess always open the door and
greet you. There's a jukebox toward the front of the restaurant where
you can pick your own good 'ole country music song for free. Another
thing that I like about this place is that you can throw your peanut
shells on the floor; to me, that's just great. It gives the feeling of
being wild, non-mannered country folk, and I feel like I can just sit
back and cut loose.
Also the facilities are always clean, and that's one of the most
important aspects of a great restaurant. For example, the manager
constantly checks on the bathrooms. Overall the restaurant is typically
clean with the exception of the peanut shells covering the floors, but
someone is constantly sweeping them up so it doesn't get too
cluttered.
On a scale from 1 to 10, I would definitely give Logan's Roadhouse a 10.
The food is great, the atmosphere is awesome, the facilites are clean
and the service is fast and friendly. When people ask where should they
go to eat, I'm the first to shout out, "Logan's!" Try it once, you'll
definitely go back!
