Right now is a sad time
for Whim because Lucky Season 13 is coming to a close and a fond
farewell must be made to all of our fabulous staff members who won't
be returning next year.
This week's edition will run for not a mere week, but the entire
summer long, until we put together the first edition for Season
14.
It's hard to believe it went by so fast, but I suppose that is
appropriate, being that time flies when you're having fun.
Pay special attention to the parting words of our senior staff
in this last edition. They have spent a good deal of time putting
their hard work and enthusiasm into this magazine, and they deserve
your full consideration.
I just want to say personally that those of you who will not be
returning will be sorely missed. Your contributions to Whim have
been incredible and unforgettable.
I would like to say a special thank you to Rachel Pastirik, who
has treated this magazine as if it were her first born for the last
three years. If you see her around campus please tell her thank
you, because without her, Whim wouldn't be the incredible publication
you see today.
Now that all that mushy stuff is out of the way I can get on with
the normal self-loving Whim propaganda that this editorial normally
exudes.
Wait a minute... how could I have forgotten to thank the one body
of individuals that has helped make this magazine possible from
day one? You guys! You know... the readers! I want to send a heartfelt
thank you to all our loyal readers for supporting us every week.
We hope you enjoy this last edition of Lucky Season 13, and stayed
tuned this coming fall, as Whim will be filled with preparations
to handcraft a new platform of entertainment and commentary that
will captivate and mesmerize even the most complex of minds.
Thank you all again for making this season such a great one!
See you next year!
