April Fool's day is either the greatest day of the year,
or the most lame excuse to do what a lot of people do all the time anyway: play
jokes on people. Or in the case of the Vent section, make up lies and then get
pissed about them. Yep, you can tell when someone is serious about venting when
they are able to argue or give props to something that isn't even true. This
week's edition is the war we are NOT having in Iraq, the recently assasinated
Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, and a battle of the bands that can truly settle
the world's problems. Oh yeah, and not to mention the fact that Vent's own
prodigal writer Bryan McBournie returns to Whim and joins Greg, Mike, and
myself on the April Fool's team! Happy April Fool's everyone, and thank God for
warm weather.
