Another week has come and gone, and this week is all about politics and policies. Andrew Lent and Mike Flick talk about the situation in Iraq, and Andrew Kinback has some venting to do about the policies of Blockbuster Video. Greg is back with part II of his experiences working at 7-11, and finally, this week begins a new column for everyone to leave their feedback on a particular issue. Enjoy!

What Are You Protesting?
  Andrew Lent | Staff Writer

This weekend we've seen a massive influx of protesters, not only in America, but all over Europe as well. These protesters are not anti-American, but anti-war, which leads me to ask a question: what are they protesting against?

Lord of the Vents: The Two Opinions
  Mike Flick | Copy Editor

With all this talk about allegories and characters from "The Lord of the Rings," I thought I'd give my opinion as to who would make a great allegory based on characters from the imagination of Tolkien. And no, I'm not picturing Donald Rumsfeld as Gimli the Dwarf. Instead, my allegory is the American public and the Ents.

The Blockbuster Horror Screw
  Andrew Kinback | PR Manager

Okay, so I am watching this flick the other night; to be exact, it is "Zombie," the European horror flick by Lucio Fulci. I watch as a zombie puts its hand through a door and pulls actress Olga Karlatos' face right into a sharp wooden shard from the door, which impales itself deep into her eye. No cutting, no editing, nothing but special effects. You even see the gruesome effect of her eyeball popping into liquid, blood, and pus. Does Blockbuster carry this great film? No, and I will tell you why you are being screwed.

Working at 7-11 Part Two: Stupid Questions and Annoyances
  Greg Woodruff | Staff Writer

Two weeks ago, I started an article series about working at 7-11. You all know by now that I used to work there. I hated it, mostly because of the stupidity, immaturity, and ignorance of the customers. The first article was a vent about how immature many students at this university are. They think that getting drunk, going to 7-11, and acting like fools is some sort of great achievement in life. I feel sorry for them.
