What is it about MTV's Spring Break that is
just sooo incredibly annoying? Conceivably, it could be the stereotypical
skanks they have dancing on walls, poles, and men! MTV makes spring break
sound as though everyone should have the funds to make it down to the
Bahamas, Cancun, and the Caribbean. I don't know about the rest of the
college population, but I have kept true to tradition and spent the majority
of my money on partying and liquor!
MTV's Spring Break crap isn't the only annoying thing. It is
considerably more irritating that I, as well as others I know, must labor
away at home to catch up on school work. NO...WE ARE NOT LAZY!!! We just
happen to have set criteria for lounging around and doing nothing. Laziness
does not fit into the equation.
In conclusion, perhaps it isn't fair to criticize those who do things
on time. Perhaps it isn't fair to complain about having to play catch-up
while others sunbathe and make merry. And perhaps I just don't care! After
all, this article itself got turned in late!

Sweet! I'll admit, maybe once or twice, MTV has impressed me, but it is very seldom. I mena, I like music videos, and MTV doesn't anymore. Now they like shows, which are all dumb, except for that one or two that managed to impress me. I think Road Rules was kind of cool for like the first few episodes. When it was actually people having to do real cool stuff, before they did the crossovers with trendy basterd-fest Real World. And some myth vs. fact show was on the other day that was actually pretty cool. Jackass is funny sometimes, and I don't know what else. But most of it is a bunch of kids trying to get a head start on their porno careers!

Mike, truly have a great trip (read my feedback in Gregs article). I think it is great if you get to go somewhere, but this is the VENT section, and we do have to complain about something. Maybe we are jelous, haha. just kidding, but Great job Andrea on the article! I hope you will submit for me more often. I can't believe someone else thinks MTV is as stupid and trendy as I do. It feels good to know I am not alone!

Jeez...you guys are making me feel bad that I am going to Florida on spring break and not chillin' at home! But I do see the merits of studying and catching up on work because the teachers here seem very strict about giving us alot of work to do before, during, and after break!
