![]() Graphic By: Rachel Pastirik Cy-purr Mouse Sound Activated Cat Toy: What a better way to start off our pet toy extravaganza than with this futuristic-looking toy mouse for the feline of your house. While it looks like the "Terminator" of vermin, one hit with a paw or the slightest meow will send this toy whizzing across the floor in unpredictable directions. Not only that, but it gives off supersonic vocal sounds, and its eyes flash on and off to give your cat a little more incentive to kick its tail. The Cy-purr stops after fifteen seconds, daring your cat to attack and try to catch it again. The Cy-Purr usually goes for $9.99 and requires two AA batteries. American Spirit Kong Toys: In the American Spirit of our times, one of the most popular dog toys is remade and redone to show that even canines can support the American way. Colored in the red, white and blue, this specially- designed rubber-molded toy will entertain your dog for hours. It bounces and wobbles as your dog tries to grip it in its mouth. To add a surprise, put a dab of peanut butter in the hollowed-out hole in the Kong and watch as your dog is given the challenge of getting the snack out of the hole. Great for jaw exercise. Depending on size, the Kongs can go between $7.99 to $12.99. Super Pet Giant Runabout Ball: Not all rats are evil and dirty as the ones in this spring's horror movie "Willard." Rats are cute and friendly and deserve as much attention as a cat or dog. This runabout ball is just the ticket. Put your pet rat in the ball and allow it to roll harmlessly across the floor and into any room you want. It is almost like a walker for children, only it's a ball, and a rat is using it. Breathing holes give more than adequate air to your furry friend. Great exercise toy. It can be used for Chinchillas as well, but avoid putting small rodents and guinea pigs in the ball. The runabout ball goes for about $14.99. All these wonderful pet items can be found at your local Petsmart or at the Petsmart Website. Responses: Refresh frame to view latest entries.
