Are you going somewhere for Spring Break? Are you
planning on driving? Why not save money and gas by driving one of the new
hybrid vehicles that use electric power?
If you廝e going somewhere this Spring Break and planning on driving, you
should take along one of the new hybrid cars. What are hybrids? Hybrids are
the newest and latest in vehicle technology. Hybrids use gasoline-operated
motors, but use electricity to give more power when it廣 needed. They are the
most fuel-efficient vehicle on the road today.
For the last few years, we影e had these vehicles available to us, and we need
them now more than ever. With the threat of war in the Middle East, the price
of gasoline has soared once again. This year廣 Spring Break traveling expenses
could cost more than last year廣, but you have the power to change all that
just by driving a hybrid.
Honda is the first to bring us such great technology. The Honda Insight is one
of the first hybrids introduced to the market. It offers the best gas mileage,
giving 61 miles per gallon in cities and 68 on highways. Today廣 gasoline- powered cars
average at only half of this.
But that廣 not all. Starting this year, having one of these cars will benefit
your taxes. The government is now giving hybrid owners a $2,000 tax deduction.
What more could such a great thing give us?
Nothing in this life is free, and unfortunately some of the best things come
with the biggest price tags. Right now Honda Insights are selling for about
$20,000. However, with this car you will save lots of money on fuel expenses.
So in the long run, this is not a very expensive car to own. The Insight is not the only hybrid on the market. Honda has also introduced
the Civic Hybrid. For more info about these cars and this technology visit

Nah, only $20k. True, but you really don't need very much power.

I thought the Hybrids were more expensive than that. Oh well.. Like Kevin said... it's a innovative idea, but I think they lack the power and size. That being said, I'm sure automobile corporations will rectify that problem eventually.
