Welcome back to Ask The Geek! This week the geek covers
reprinting documents after a crash and how to get AIM+ features with newer
versions of AIM.
Q: Is there any way to reprint the last document my computer
printed? I was printing, and my computer crashed.
A: Unless you are on a network with a designated print server which
has been configured to save all documents printed for x amount of time, no.
Remember the Christian Computer Geek's motto: "Jesus Saves! So should you!"
Q: I loved using AIM+, but it does not support the newest versions
of AIM. Is there any other free software out there for me to try?
A: Actually, there is hope for those of us who want to run several
S/N's at the same time, as well as do other nifty things. You can visit J Dennis.net and learn about
DeadAIM. DeadAIM has been featured on TECHTV and other Geek-like places as
their featured download of the day. It seems to be safe and does not register
as a Trojan horse with the leading antivirus scanners, so I'd say it's a
reputable product. Mad props go out to Stevedogg for pointing out this
useful utility!
Well folks, that's all for this week! Remember to send your questions in so that we can
answer
them for you! Until next week, happy computing!
