![]() Graphic By: Jonelle Thackston Once you arrive in your new town, you will meet Tom Nook, the raccoon that has almost everything you will ever need. Tom is the local shop owner and has four places to sell. He's decided to be kind and let you work off a loan for a house. After you choose which place you wish to reside, it's off to Tom's to begin your part-time job. The job helps you get on your feet and begin your new life. There are almost an unlimited number of things to do in "Animal Crossing." You can go fishing, dig up fossils, write your friends, catch insects, and collect furniture for your place. You can trade, sell, or buy items with your friends and neighbors. You can plant your own orchard or flower garden to spice up your town. You can also visit other towns and your local island. A Gameboy Advance and Gameboy Advance link cable will be required to visit the local island. It's been said that it would take a whole year to discover all of the items that are in the game. Four people may play "Animal Crossing" on the same memory card, but not simultaneously. You are encouraged to invite your friends to move in with you. The four of you will be the only humans that may move into your town. Various animals, such as cats, dogs, pigs, anteaters, cows, horses and hawks will also move into town. I have no complaints about "Animal Crossing." There is so much to do. You can even use E-cards with the E-reader to collect info about the villagers and even get presents! The music is cool and the graphics are good as well. This is a game that doesn't get old easily. Every day is different, time passes, and seasons change just like in real life! There are holidays to celebrate and many other visitors throughout the month. I got my friends hooked, and I guarantee after playing it, you'll be hooked too! So, what are you waiting for? Play "Animal Crossing" on the Nintendo GameCube. Check out the official site at www.animal-crossing.com. Responses: Refresh frame to view latest entries.
