  1. Arizona- I don't know who can compete with the Cats.  Their victories, or should I say practices, against UCLA and USC have them rolling on top of the college basketball world.

  2. Kentucky - The second place Cats are on a 14-game winning streak and have to continue playing well for their remaining games.  Even though the Bogan-led Wildcats lost against Louisville earlier this year, I have a feeling that UK would get the better of the Cards if they were to meet in March Madness.

  3. Louisville - Marvin Stone and Reece Gaines make a great tag team. It makes you wonder how in the world did they lost to Saint Louis.

  4. Kansas - The Jayhawks have four players who average more than 15 points a game.  They will need them to produce when they visit Oklahoma.

  5. Texas - T.J. Ford and Brandon Mouton helped the Longhorns prove themselves Monday night when they dismantled Texas Tech. However, a trip to Oklahoma State could spell trouble for them this weekend.

  6. Oklahoma - The Sooners mainly rely on Hollis Price, but Quannas White's career high of 23 points was good enough to help Oklahoma University to beat Texas Tech last weekend.  Now they welcome Kansas this weekend.

  7. Pittsburgh - A 12-point loss at Seton Hall dropped the Panthers to the bottom of the top ten teams.  Wins over Rutgers and VT should be the right momentum to help them bounce back from being 2-3 in the last five games.

  8. Notre Dame - The Fighting Irish suffered two tough losses to Seton Hall and Syracuse, but they did fit in a nice win over Pittsburgh.  The West Virginia and VT games this week should be momentum builders going into the Big East conference.

  9. Maryland - The Defending Champs bounced back nicely from the losses to GT and UVA.  The Terps had wins over Florida State and Wake Forest to gain ownership of the top spot of the Atlantic Coast Conference.  Maryland has the right tools to dance big time again this year.

  10. Xavier - Led by the Wild Wild West, the X-Men are playing great basketball and have won their last 10 games.  David West had a field day against RU's former coach Oliver Purnell, scoring 47 points against Dayton last week. [an error occurred while processing this directive]
