So hopefully you all have settled down and are back in the groove of "work, work, work" after spring break. Yeah, right. Neither have we. All we want to do here in the Ritz Section is listen to music and watch movies (and some other stuff, maybe). So leave those books closed and see what Ritz has for your reading pleasure!

Peace,
Brandon

Movie Review: "Ringu"
  Shaun Corley | Staff Writer

In October 2002 Dreamworks released "The Ring" in theatres. The film experienced both a commercial and artistic success. Week after week, packed movie-houses were terrified by the film's story and its terrifying imagery. What many viewers may not have been aware of is that "The Ring" was a remake of "Ringu," a Japanese film. Now this film is available on DVD in the United States. Click here to read what "Ring" fan Shaun Corley thinks of the release!

Movie Review: "Dead Man Walking"
  Berkley Pritchett | Staff Writer

A masterpiece about capital punishment in America. It has often been said that "Dead Man Walking" is an anti-death penalty film, and that the real power of this movie is in its emotion. Both of these observations are true about "Dead Man Walking," but not in any way that you would expect.

  Andrew Kinback | PR Manager

The world of horror watched and waited. Finally, after almost two years of waiting, director Rob Zombie has found a home in Lions Gate Films for his bloody baby, "House of 1000 Corpses."

This Flick Kicks Ash
Brandon Faust | Ritz Section Manager

I'm always looking to rent a movie that may be a little off of the wall. You know, something that is not so mainstream and not even a major motion picture. After reading the backs of several rental cases and carefully choosing my next victim, I picked up "Ash Wednesday" with no regrets.
