In my years at RU, I've grown comfortable with the predictablity of the little things. The dorms are always a little crazy. The freshmen always seem to get a little dumber. And Dalton food gets progressively worse every year. Well, much to my happy surprise, that last predictablity no longer holds true. This year Dalton food is good, really good.

I know all you freshmen are saying to yourselves, "What the hell is she talking about?" You'll have to read "The Infamous Dalton Dash Strikes Again" to understand the horrors that you've been saved from. That way you'll appreciate what your upperclassmen have been subjected to in years past. The change in the food is shocking to say the least. It's finally edible. That's right. Not only can I finally go into Dalton and eat the food, but I finally want to eat the food. In fact, the Dalton menu is the first thing I check out now when I head for food. There's variety now as well. Including a new vegetarian station that provides vegetarian dishs not limited to tofu and carrots. I'm going to credit the new food services company with this amazing turn around in food quality. They are doing an excellent job and hope they manage to keep it up.

And if the thought of Dalton still brings to mind a rotting salad bar and overcooked food, you really ought to try out the new Dalton. It's so much better you'll think you're at a different school.
