Mwave.com and Plextor CD-RWs are HOT!

I know, CD-RW drives have been around for a while, but I just recently got around to buying my first one, online at Mwave.com. It's great having a burner, and now that I have one installed, I don't know how I made it over the years without one. Besides freeing up storage space and copying multimedia, I have a lot more peace of mind knowing that if my cd's get stolen from parties they are just copies and not the original. Anyway, commence the burning.
I was turned onto Mwave.com by our own Kevin Martin (thanks Kevin) and was really happy with what it had to offer. Mwave has everything that you need to build yourself a computer, or add on to an existing one. Either way, I was shopping for a CD burner and Mwave definitely had a great selection to choose from.
Low prices and a high read/write speed were important and I found those qualities in a CD-rom writer by Plextor. I had never heard of Plextor before visiting Mwave, but after talking to some friends and reading some reviews I decided on the Plextor 48x/24x/48x CD-RW for a mere $112.58 before shipping.
The Plextor was shipped in under a week with the regular shipping option and before I knew it, it was up and running. The installation was easy and another thing that surprised me was that the Plextor came with some free Roxio software and an extra IDE cable, which were crucial. Next thing I knew I was burning things left and right, freeing up all kinds of extra space on my computer. The Plextor was amazing; most CD-RW's that I had used or seen copied or "burnt" cd's in about 20 minutes. This one sounds like a jet engine when it gets going and cooks a cd up in only 6 - 10 minutes! Also, the quality is amazing. Even with the super quick write speed, it makes flawless audio cd's. I couldn't be happier with the Plextor and I plan on going back to Mwave for all my future computer accessories.
So if you need a mouse, memory, or anything else for your computer you now know where to go. Mwave.com will surely have just the product you are looking for at the cheapest price. Check 'em out!

Problems with newegg?
Don't base yoru opinion on egghead. Me and about a dozen friends have ordered multiple items (I've ordered around 20 items over the last year) and they've been extremely prompt, as in 2-3 days. As for returns, they are very prompt on getting back to you about RMA's. I accidnetly ordered a socket 423 p4 last year instead of the 478, and they were cool about the rma, so about 7 days after i sent out the email to them about the RMA, I had my new processor.
As for with the iso writings, I meant ripping. Even tomshardware has dropped plextor as their favorite brand and has picked up newbie liteon as their favorite.
Anyway, dont' knock newegg till you try 'em. just cause it may have been egghead (which as far as i'm care, is just a rumor) it is a superior company to every other one I've had experience with.
Another awesome deal with newegg is that they have user reviews on many of their products. And they also have a plethora of pictures of their products. This is definently one of my favorite things about newegg.

newegg.com is a reformation of egghead.com. While they were egghead, i have constant problems with timely shipping, correct shipping methods, shipping the correct parts, etc. Then when something came defective, they gave me the run-around until I had Amex back-charge them. I'm not about to suggest to ANYONE to go to a place who's roots are that rotten.
On the subject of .bin and .iso writing problems, the problem was not the drive, indeed, it was with 3 different popular cd-writing programs...which were not properly designed for the modern ultra-fast burners. Simple software updates fix those problems.

Umm... try newegg.com have to say it's the cheapest place to buy stuff from. Also they get your stuff to you in 2-3 days (regular shipping).
Try them out, newegg.com is the best.
Depending on which 48x plextor model you want, they have them for 105 for oem to something like 110 retail. But plextor is no longer the way to go, due to problems with writing ISO's and Bin's (incompatibility with certain copyright protection guards)...
