5.  BCS horror: We all know the BCS is a load of crap, but Oklahoma #1?  Now that's scary.

4.  A Family Affair: Cousins Michael Vick and Aaron Brooks are battling this Sunday to see whose the better athlete when the Falcons play the Saints. Most people have their money on Vick, but the way Brooks has been playing as of late, are you sure you want to gamble and lose that money?

3.  Yankees Yanked out:  The New York Yankees aren't in the World Series for the first time since 1997.  As much joy that brings to me, it's still a bit freaky.

2.  Lakers of the East?: With an allstar roster for the 2002-2003 season, will the Washington Wizards become the Lakers of the East?  I know it's frightful to imagine a winning team in Washington, but I wouldn't doubt it this year.

1. Lavar Arrington: He's just scary.  Need I say more?  Oh yeah--watch out for Maryland's senior linebacker, E.J. Henderson; he'll be just as scary in the NFL next season.
