Who Scares You?
Brandon Faust | Ritz Section Manager

Okay, so I haven't seen all of the horror movies in existence. But I can tell you that I know of a few characters that scare the you-know-what out of all of us. So I have compiled some horror characters from movies that have come out in the past two decades and placed my personal opinions within. Do you agree or disagree?

Scary as Hell

Chucky
I know that hardly anyone can say that Chucky from the "Child's Play" movie series wasn't a creepy, little bastard doll. I would freak out any time I saw this guy in the toy stores.
Freddy Krueger
He's just ugly. "Nightmare on Elm St." set some new boundaries in my opinion. You can't beat an evil Edward Scissorhands with a first-degree burn, I'm sorry.
The Hellraiser
This guy was just hands-down scary. Not too many people even cared to watch this movie because of the way he looks and the title itself.
Jason
This is a classic psycho right here everyone. No one ever looked at the traditional hockey mask the same way as before.
Michael Myers
Although I never cared too much for the movie, "Halloween," this weirdo always got to me. Hurry up and close that door!
That Jeepers Creepers Thing
Right, the movie was a flop towards the second half of it, but wasn't this creature cool? It was swift, viscious, and fugly (not a typo).

Not So Scary

The Leprechaun
Come on people. He was just a perverted, Irish midget from outer space. The only thing I would have been worried about was the little guy humping my leg like a mutt in heat.
Jack Frost
You're kidding me, right? I shouldn't even have to go any further on this one. I thought this was a comedy when I first laid eyes upon this ridiculous snowman with a temper.
It
Others may definitely disagree with me on this one. Clowns are for the circus.

Name: Yeti
Comments:
The most terrifying of all is definitely Pinhead from Hellraiser. He doesn't want you to die necessarily; he just wants to keep you in total agonizing pain for all eternity. That's all.

Name: rachel

Comments:
you dont think It is scary??? Maybe tis just me and my irrational fear of clowns but that thing still makes me shiver as for jack frost......total agreement and the leprechaun ...the only thing i am scared of is the idiotthat wrote the script......good points tho

Name: zacman
Comments:
ah, c'mon... in jack frost when the devil snowman takes a warm shower with the girl? it was terrifying!

except he's a snowman... and he'd melt...

Name: Brian Nash
Comments:
Yeah, never thought It was scary till I read the book... Clowns are no longer for the cirus for me!

Name: Shaggy
Comments:
Hands down: Michael Myers could destroy any of them.
