A little strange but I support everything that Shaggy says because I know that he can back it up. Certain points of the cartoon make absolutely no sense to me...but Shaggy is big on the anti-sheep and anti-followers thing. All in all, it's a fun piece.

Priya, what the heck did the sloth have to do with his cartoon? And just because Monkeyballz made a mistake once, a few years ago, he shouldn't be beaten to death with it. We all make mistakes. I'm sure he's a bigger and better person after finding out how shallow most of those organizations are. Hey, that said anyone else wanna blindly follow me and help flip a car in the overflow lot? He didn't say Nick was a sheep. Relax!

THIS WILL BE THE ONLY RESPONSE FROM THE AUTHOR ABOUT THIS STRIP THIS WEEK. HE IS VERY BUSY AND ARTISTS DO NOT HAVE TO EXPLAIN THEMSELVES. "View From The Other Side of The Street" is a title with a meaning. It is the view from the other side of things. While many people support Greek organizations because of their "community service" contributions to the community (oh please..) many see another side of Greek life. True I rushed and got flat out rejected: BECAUSE I DON'T DRINK. Why would I want to be a part of something like that if they can't except me for who I am? Because I don't fit THEIR guidelines? Thanks but no thanks King Henry. I see there can be value in the Greek system but I have also seen a more nasty side to it as well. As for the DMB comment, so many people love this country hick but on the other side of the street it is a whole other view. Besides, in response to Priya: That little addition to the comic was specially for you and all the other DMB fans courtesy of the gang from "View From The Other Side." What whacks me out more is that fact that one little comment about DMB has more questions asked than the real issue: What the hell is that sheep (frat boy) doing upside down on the ceiling in the last panel?

doesn't necessarily mean it's HIS point of view. UGH must get sleep

On Shaggy's behalf, I'll offer something that a lot of people forget. Even though Shaggy wrote and drew this piece, it doesn't necessarily mean it's point of view. He's a narrator, telling a story from other points of view, no matter how ridiculous they may be. I believe true artists try to convey what they don't know.
And Priya, I dunno about the DMB stuff...but people look at me REALLY WEIRD when I say I don't like that music. But I don't understand what it's doing there either.
Nonetheless, this is the funniest damn thing that's ever been in Whim. The style, the content...all very, very amusing. Glad to have you on board.

What does "DMB=Country Music" have to do with the point you were making in your toon? Didn't you rush DX a couple of years ago? I guess your opinion of fraternities changed after they rejected you...
