Frank Cho's Liberty Meadows is one of the most consistently entertaining comic books being published today. Chronicling the lives of three animal psychologists and their wards, the book deftly mixes toilet bowl and highbrow humor and pop culture gags.  One of Meadow's reoccurring storylines is the unrequited love between two of the human characters, Frank and Brandy, a storyline that comes to a head in Liberty Meadows: The Wedding Album.

Cho realizes that this issue may draw new readers into the fold, so he provides a recap of events leading up to Brandy's wedding: her and Frank's first meeting, Brandy's engagement to the pretty boy Roger, Frank's fling with Brandy's roommate Jen, as well as the wedding preparations.  Cho also reprints some of the best strips involving the animal denizens of Liberty Meadows. Yet, while Cho resolves the main storyline, he leaves the door open for further developments.

This particular issue, in addition to resolving a long-standing storyline, marks a change in format for the book. Previous issues collected the Liberty Meadows strip which appeared in newspapers. Beginning with the next issue however, Cho will be creating all new material.

If you've never experienced Liberty Meadows before, then "The Wedding Album" serves as a great introduction to this unique, and hilarious, comic. And after you've picked that up, be sure to pick up some more issues. You won't regret it.

Since "Opus and Bill" left the comic strip scene I have been depressed. "Calvin and Hobbs" satisfied me a little but still...Then "Liberty Meadows." Thank you God for Frank Cho!
