Survivor 4 Predictions (Part One)

The first episode of "Survivor" already had some tension. As the two tribes departed off the boat that brought them to Marquesas, they were able to communicate for the first time with their teammates. On the journey to the shore, one castaway by the name of Sarah was already showing her true self to the team; showing them that she will not work and all she wants to do is show herself off. The other tribe worked together and everyone seemed to belong. As the show continued, it let the audience know a little bit about the new survivors' situations and their personalities.

When it got down to immunity time, water once again, like the first airing of “Survivor,” played a major role. The two tribes were in a race against each other for the chance for the team members to stay on the island for three more days. It turned out that Rotu pulled in the lead and stayed there until the end, sending Maraamu to tribal counsel. It is here that the first castaway will be the first to depart and find their way back home. When the tribe voted, some remembered Sarah and her lack of ability to help the tribe while others looked to Peter, a bowling alley owner, and sent him packing. The rest of the tribe returned back to camp, knowing that next time it could be one of them leaving. The next episode of "Survivor" airs on March 7 at 8pm.

Predicting what might happen on “Survivor” can be tricky. You have to imagine that you are there and think like the survivors think. As you all know, poor talkative Peter was the one kicked off last week. To be blunt, I was wrong about him. I had my money on Patricia. For the next vote, since I have no idea what tribe will win immunity, I will pick two people who I think will get the boot, one from each tribe. From the Maraamu tribe, I believe that Patricia will finally be the one to walk away from tribal council and return home. I believe this because she is the oldest and I feel the tribe will wise up and keep the strongest and worry about personality later on in the game. They will miss Peter’s strength. In the tribe Rotu, Kathy in the beginning showed her leadership (pushy) skills and some had doubts then about her, but luckily for her they didn’t have to make that choice at tribal council. So if they happen to lose the immunity challenge next go round, she might need to pack her bags to return home.

A thought pertaining to "Survivor" not relating to people being kicked off is: Sarah and Rob and their first night romance in the raft. Do we have another Colby and Jerri from Survivor Africa on our hands? Very seductive, showing-everthing-she-has-woman (Sarah, Jerri) and a good looking but possibly-not-too-interested man (Rob, Colby) playing the game with deceit. Will Rob use Sarah like Colby used Jerri, or will it twist this season and let the women have the upper hand? Only one way to find out. Watch Survivor Marquesas Thursday night at 8 pm on CBS!
