Newsflash: CBS cancels Show after Execs view pilot
In a swift-sweeping move to clean up their corporate image, CBS executives opted to cancel Neddy the Nightstick from Saturday morning programming. "We liked the idea, but feel that we cannot support the notion that all officers of the law are abusive, as the show would suggest," one anonymous executive reported. "It just got too creepy. Especially for a kid's show." CBS plans to move along with Pokemon reruns until a more suitable show is presented to the executive production staff.
