Creative Creates Again

Creative Labs of USA has done it again. For years Creative has been recognized as making some of the best sound cards for computers. In fact, all modern sound cards are tested to be "Creative Sound Blaster Compatible." Their latest toy raises the standards of personal music.

Creative Labs has released their Nomad Jukebox 20Gb personal MP3 player. This player plugs into your computer using popular and fast USB. When plugged into your computer, you can download into the player, or create your own MP3's from any audio cd you can get your hands on.

So what good is the 20Gb player? Imagine having over 340 hours of music. If you can find that much music to listen to, stay plugged in (or keep fresh batteries) and the Nomad 20Gb will play without repeating a song for over 2 weeks!

Nomad's secret is a small-sized hard drive designed for laptop computers. This personal MP3 player, the size of a discman, will hold more MP3 music then most computers in the Walker Labs could hold! Imagine having all of your favorite music, along with other songs that you like to occasionally listen to. This player can easily hold your entire CD collection.

All of this space does however come with a price. It is currently $354 at pcnation.com. If the Nomad 20Gb is too much for you, Creative also offers an older Nomad model that holds 6Gb of music. (About150 CD's at high quality.) The Nomad C can be ordered from Amazon.com for $270.
