 Life After an ACL Tear

In sports, no matter if the level is high school, college, or professional, there's one injury that tests not only the physical, but mental abilities of an athlete. A broken bone can be cast and mended, sprained ankles can be drowned in ice and levitated, but when injuries occur to the knee, namely an ACL or MCL tear, or even both, an athlete faces a long path towards rehabilitation and fears that they might not be able to do the same movements that garnered them their status in their athletic field.


 Riley's: The Sports Bar Scene

When entering a sports bar, the average customer gets everything they need to give them the perfect sports environment. There are televisions everywhere with various games on the screens. Tables are filled with groups of friends socializing about the athletic events seen on the screens in front of them. The sound of beer foaming out of the tap and filled mugs sliding across wooden bar tables can be heard as frequently as the sound of billiards banging against each other on pool tables.


The Baseball Team I Remember Most

When Mark McGuire retired I couldn't help but have a childhood flashback to the days when I really loved baseball. Not that I don't love baseball now, because I do, but nothing compares to a kid's love of the game of baseball.
