Graphic By: The Whim Staff

To students, most holidays can seem to be little more than mere days off from school. But there are those few special ones that mean just a little bit more. Thanksgiving is one of them. We know that it's not just a break from school...

...it's a break from school where we get to eat really good food.

Here, then, are some of our illustrious Whim staffers with their favorite Thanksgiving treats.

Sick this past week so I'll share my fav. My grandmother's mashed potatoes. She makes them with scallions and cheese. May sound a little gross at first but if you try it you'll love it.

It's all about Ukrops baby... bring on the White house rolls and other random goodies that only can come from that wonderous RICHMOND institution...
