I don't know about "Breakfast at Tiffany's," but Hewitt did play Audrey Hepburn in a t.v. bio about the star's life. I don't know much about Hepburn but from the little I saw of the movie, Hewitt seemed to do a fairly good job.

In response to Rachel's comment about the Rock only being in a little bit of The Mummy II, he's gonna have his own movie of The Scorpion King which is due to be released by next summer I do believe. Oh, and as for the rampant rumors that I'm battling it out with the Matt Damon for the hooker-with-a-heart-of-gold part in the Coleman remake of It's A Wonderful Life, I have no comment at this time.

I heard that staff writer Steve Glassbrenner is currently up for the role of a drunken prostitute in the Gary Coleman directed remake of "It's A Wonderful Life" Is that true?

Rumor central indicates that WWF Superstar, THE ROCK, has been presented with another movie deal after his appearance in the second Mummy movie. He has been offered the lead role in the video game to movie adapation of the famed Duke Nukem series. It is unknown if The Rock accepted at this time.

It is confirmed that Halloween 8 will be released the Fall of 2001. The working title for the film is Halloween 8: MichaelMyers.Com although this title will certainly change before release. The script is sort of a Blair Witch meets Halloween kind of thing which at first sounds cheesey but if done right can work out just fine. Rick Rosenthal will be directing. Rosenthal also directed Halloween 2 making him the first director in the franchise's history to direct two Halloween films.

I've heard there will be a remake of Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory with Marilyn Manson and Billy Corgan starring. This should be interesting.

Dr. Hannibal Lecter will be returning on Feb. 9, 2001. Portrayed by the astounding Anthony Hopkins, Lecter comes to life on the screen once more in the much awaited sequel to "Silence of the Lambs" called "Hannibal".. Julian Moore will become the character of Agent Starling, replacing Jodie Foster. So far the plot is Dr. Lecter has been retired from his life of a serial killer and has lived quite the simple and normal life. However after being put on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted List, a bounty put on his head by one of his past victims, and boredom from not being in the spotlight, the evil genius returns to what he does best. For those of you who have read the book "Hannibal", the movie is said to have a slightly different ending, an ending that is being put under tight wraps, much like a Scream movie, and the ending is said to be a shocker. Look for the movie on Feb. 9, 2000. I shall be in attendance that day, myself.

Small note here with news on Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit. He will be producing a film that he wrote whose name escapes me at the moment. The plot is on a teenage kid being picked on in high school and how he goes on getting vengence. Typical Durst preying on teenage angst. I would puke at this teeny bopper plot like movie if it wasn't for the rumor of the director: David Fincher. I love Fincher's work and "Fight Club" with Brad Pitt and Edward Norton was a sensational piece of work. Look for this movie in 2001 sometime.

Tim Burton will be directing a remake of the one of the most famous sci-fi franchises in history, "The Planet of the Apes." He will be directing the movie "The Planet of the Apes: The Visitor". Rumor has it it is not a new movie of the series, it is a remake of the original but it will go through some changes. A vague rumor has been going around that Charleston Heston will make a cameo in the film. "The Visitor" " will be landing sometime in the Spring-Summer of 2001.

The 8th movie in the Halloween series is due out in the Fall of 2001. Fans will be pleased to hear that Michael Myers will once more return for a final night of terror. Many ask how they will pull this off considering Myers had his head cut off in Halloween H20. Look for them to make a prequel to H20 or pull a Friday the 13th Part 5 on everyone (In Part 5 it was a fake Jason Voorhees. Not the real killer.). Jamie Lee Curtis will return in a cameo.

For those of you that have seen the "X-Men" teaser trailer: Does anyone else think Halley Berry's wig looks REALLY bad?!?!?!?!? It looks like they bought it at the dollar store. She also seems to be a little young to play Storm. Oh well, we'll just have to see if she does a good acting job.

Ok I heard an awful rumor today that they were going to re-make Breakfast at Tiffany's with Jenifer Love Hewett.....FOR GOODNESS SAKES NO!!! there are just certain movies you DO NOT re-make...such as Casablanca....Star Wars...and yes B.A.T.!!!

THe Move "No Extra Day" is in the works now. The premise is this: The movie centers around a video store run by a group of movie aficionados
who can have whole conversations comprised of movie quotations, and what
happens when said store winds up being closed down by a large corporate evil
entity whose minions actually liked Batman and Robin and can't wait for the
next sequel. Sounds like a winner to me...almost like a new Clerks! Yay!

I read online today that Ben Affleck might be the next Batman. There are two possible plots. One where an old batman turns his cape over to a teen-ager and one that follows how Bruce Wayne turned into Batman. The only problem is that Ben is too old to be the teen-ager and too young to be the middle-aged Batman. If they cast him Ben(27) will be the youngest Batman.
