Prepare for the X-Box
Graphic By: Grant Simmons

The last system of the newest generation of consoles will be appearing shortly after the end of this year. Microsoft is the company; X-Box is the name. This machine will most definitely have the most power out of the four consoles. It is unknown whether or not consumers will buy into a system when they will be getting computer upgrades with specs that make the X-Box dwarfed in comparison.

Game selection and time are the key components that Microsoft will need to look into. The other systems will be out before the X-Box can make its debut. Gamers in general may become impatient and go ahead and put down $200 for a GameCube or Playstation 2 before Microsoft gets a chance to show what it can do.

Of course, success will probably be measured by exposure to new audiences, and it is up to the companies to get the product advertised and ready for the growing console market.
