Camera35mm cameras are the most popular. Polaroids are as successful, but they leave no negatives for reprints or examinations. Digital cameras can have missing pixels and also leave no negatives. Tape RecorderA tape recorder is good to use if you wish to later listen for any unusual sounds from the place you visited. However, in order for it to be effective, it calls for complete silence. Therefore, no one can be talking, engines running, etc. when used. Parabolic EarThis is a good item to have because it only records sounds in the direction you point it. Therefore, it is much easier to hone in on unique and unusual sounds when ghost hunting. Digital ThermometerThis device helps aid you in finding "cold" spots in an area where paranormal activity could be taking place. It is a very affordable item! Video CameraIf you are going to use a video camera to ghost hunt, please make sure it operates well in low light conditions. A video camera might be too cumbersome and expensive to be carrying around while hunting, however. Common SenseThis is probably the most important "item" to have when ghost hunting. Don't jump fences into private property or graveyards, leave home without a picture I. D., ghost hunt by yourself, have other people smoking around you when taking a picture, or tell no one where you are going. Additionally, make sure you are familiar with the location you are planning to ghost hunt at, and the driving route to get there and back in a timely manner. |
