1) Philadelphia 76ers(14-3, last weeks ranking: 1)
They lost to the Nuggets but that’s because they were thinking about the Lakers, who they play on Friday. This team plays solid D and Iverson is a threat for 40 points on any given night.

2) Los Angeles Lakers(13-5, last weeks ranking: 2)
The Lakers are finally playing up to championship form. If they beat the 76ers they’ll move to number one.

3) San Antonio Spurs(11-5,last weeks ranking: not ranked)
They got whopped by the Lakers last week, but are still playing great.

4) Phoenix Suns(11-5, last weeks ranking:4)
The Suns are getting great play out of Jason Kidd, and Shaun Marion. We’ll see if they can do anything against the Lakers.
