Yes! Finally, Radford has what we've all been waiting for!
Ever had one of those long nights when you're up 'til 4 a.m. doing homework?
Ever had the munchies after returning home from a party? Well, at long
last, there is a
place to eat that's easy to get to.
Last Friday at midnight, my roommate and I walked down to Joe's Diner to
experience a taste of the '50s. As we walked in, we noticed the restaurant
was quite crowded. All the booths were packed, so we sat at the bar. As I
ordered a refreshing
Coca-Cola, my roommate went off to inspect the facilities. The bathroom was
unisex but quite clean. It's too bad the guy peeing outside on the front lawn
didn't know about it.
When we settled down and looked over the menu, we saw that
the diner had a wide selection of foods. You could order anything from
waffles to
wieners. I ordered a hot dog while my roommate ordered the
Mo Jo Burger with fries. We both agreed that the food was made
quickly, tasted good and was inexpensive.
Though Joe's Diner definitely isn't a place to study, the atmosphere was
fun and interesting, and the staff members were energetic. The customers were
rowdy and seemed to be having a good time. An employee even came in to work
off the clock.
The music, furniture and decorations really made the place reminiscent of the
'50s. We have been back since our dining adventure and would definitely
recommend Joe's Diner to Radford students. The diner is a good place to
hang out, get
good food at any hour and not break the bank.

I have been to Joe's Diner 3 times and enjoyed it very much. The only downside to me is that it is small but other than that I seemed to like it very much. I hope that the Diner will expand it's menu a bit someday.

Joes is the best in friggin town, I love it, since its inception i have been their almost everyday. I always oreder my meals with a persoanl touch, like hashbrowns with cheese, or bacon extra crispy, and joes has always made to order. Finnaly i don't have to drive to dublin jus tto get some food at 3 in the morn. or at least not just pizza. :) I'd also lilke to say the waitresses are very freindly.

I thought the breakfast thingy was very bland. I will have to try the burger though. I'm sure I'll be there quite a bit.
