eBay Fulfills All of Your Shopping Needs

by JEFF POLLARD

It's no secret that the electronic marketplace is one of the largest and fastest growing communities on the Internet. The majority of eCommerce (as it is commonly called) are auction sites such as eBay.

On these auction sites, users can place bids on items posted by other users. eBay even sorts all of the current auctions into categories such as computers, antiques, coins & stamps, jewelry, and toys. Inside these categories are sub categories that make it even easier for users to find what they are looking for. If that doesn't simplify the search process enough, there is a built-in search engine for the site that can be accessed from the front page.

Becoming a member of eBay is easy and inexpensive. In fact, registering to become a member of eBay costs less than a piece of Bazooka Joe bubble-gum: (it's free!). Once a member, you're allowed to place items up for auction and also bid on items.

Simply put, eBay has everything. If you're looking for a Mickey Mouse air freshener for your car, you can search and find it. While browsing through some of the categories, I found some weird items like a coin-operated vibrating hotel bed and a Swedish penis enlarger. The point is, if you're looking for it, you'll find it on eBay.

Is eBay safe? Well, that is a hard question to answer. I've purchased two items from eBay and haven't had any problems dealing with either seller. A good way to decide whether you should trust the seller you're dealing with is to check the Seller's feedback page that is provided from previous clients. As a buyer, you never deal with eBay at all. The auction is placed by the seller and you deal ONLY with that person or organization.

All in all, eBay is a great shopping experience. I enjoy browsing at least once a week to see what kind of deals I can find on computer hardware. If you're looking to buy anything, I urge you to check out eBay first!

I like your site and the article on Ebay. I also can just sign my paychecks over to Ebay each week. I also wonder why a Radford Highlander needs a penis enlarger?

Paul, Jeff, Somehow I feel responsible for your addictions. Learn to love eBay, but at a distance. Otherwise, watch your wallet shrink. (aw hell, just auction off your wallet)
