Digital
Blasphemy. The name might sound a bit odd, but this web site is full
of amazingly beautiful Windows wallpaper that you can download free.
The webmaster, Ryan Bliss, fully dedicates his time to running this site.
The site is well-designed and easy to navigate. You can get to
anywhere on the web site from any page.
Digital Blasphemy
contains over 100 images that you can use for wallpaper or your own web
site. Image types include landscapes, fractal, outer space, posers (images
with human forms in them), and skeleton images, just to name a few.
With a new image added every other week or so,
there is always something to look forward to. The site never
gets old or repetitive. Images are rendered in four different resolutions
to suit various sized monitors (which is a plus if you have a large
screen). They are available in 640 x 480, 800 x 600,
1024 x 768, and 1152 x 684 resolutions. The images download fairly quickly
for their
clarity, and they can be saved or set as wallpaper.
It's that simple.
Also, you may "join" Digital Blasphemy for a small fee;
$10 for 30 days and $25 dollars for one year. It may seem like a lot of
money to spend on graphics but this is how the artist makes his living!
Of course,
membership is not required. There are always free images for you to
choose from. The benefits of a membership include special offers, rare
drawings, and discounts on his CD-ROM's and posters (yes you can get the
images posterized!). Everything is
explained on the membership page.
As I said, Digital Blasphemy is updated almost every day. The front page
contains news of progress on new images as well as special offers and an
occasional survey. Need a graphic or a web site? Bliss also offers
those services for a fee. Use of his graphics and the like are free
for use on all non-commercial sites. You can use them as you please.
I believe this to be one of the best wallpaper sites on the net, so
go
check it out. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

For some reason, the link given in the article, will send you to some ISP company. Go to this link instead: http://www.digitalblasphemy.com/dbhome.shtml
that should work. Maybe I'm the only one experiencing this problem. But I went to check out the site and a different web site showed up for whatever reason. Hope this fixes the problem if anyone ran into the same trouble.
