It's getting to be that time again. Summer is on its way for RU students. Now
comes the hard part. What do you do with your summer? Let's see. You could get ahead with your academics and take Summer classes. There's always the high paying summer job at McDonalds. You could always take that airplane ride to see Grandma. If none of these options entice you, it's time for a Road Trip.
Hampton Roads offers many different summertime activities within a
manageable distance. There are numerous activities in Hampton
Roads for visitors to choose from. The Virginia Beach Boardwalk offers a scenic
beach experience for those looking to soak up some summer rays. Be sure
to stop by 17th Street Surf Shop when down on the beach. For those
concentrating more on the sight-seeing end of things, you can travel to
Colonial Williamsburg and learn some history about this area. It is
really interesting and I recommend it. There are signs on I-64 for
Colonial Williamsburg. For those interested in theme parks, Williamsburg
offers Busch Gardens. This is full of roller coasters and numerous
different shops and activities. Busch Gardens is also easily accessible off of I-64.
