If you're looking for a great horror flick for Halloween, you can't
miss with a classic. My personal favorite is Stephen King's "The
Shining." I first saw it 4 years ago, and I still can't get enough of
it.
This movie has all the qualities to make it a great horror
film. It has psychological suspense, ghosts, axes and a flagrant over-use
of fake blood. This movie will keep you on the edge of your seat, and
have you constantly checking over your shoulder.
Be sure to pay close
attention to the bathroom scene; classic twitch-inducing horror! I had
to check behind my shower curtain for a week! So, if you are looking for a
horror film that's actually scary, check out "The Shining."
