What Dreams may Come, a movie starring Robin Williams and Cuba Gooding Jr.,
was a fantastic movie. It displayed the dreams that were painted out
on canvas to illustrate the perfect family situation.
The unfortunate situation, is the unwinding of events that lead to
the death of many of the family. As each character perishes, it is
a constant struggle for the living characters to keep on.
As Robin William's character dies, he is brought into a world that was
created by a painting he had. Other characters that played roles in his
life appear to him, and show him the way through his eternity.
I found an intrigue of different religious interpretations thrown into
the movie, involving Christianity, Mormonism, Buddhism, and Hinduism.
God was mentioned, reincarnation initiated, the issues of family ethics,
and enlightenment ideals are spiraled into the eternity's definition.
With a wonderful screenplay, and excellent acting, "What Dreams May Come"
was a wonderful movie, that will inspire your mind, your heart, and your
soul. A must see!

Imagine if you could create your own heaven. What would it be like? Who
would you want there?
In "What Dreams May Come," Chris Neilson (Robin
Williams), gets to do just that. In Heaven, he is greeted by Albert
"Doc" Williams (Cuba Gooding Jr.) who teaches him that everything
physical is an illusion and only thoughts are real.
This movie is different from all movies I have seen dealing with death.
It is from the vantage point of the deceased. The idea is that we don't
disappear. We forever exist in our own imaginary world. There is no
judgment, and we see what we want to see. Chris has to deal with his
death and has to make his troubled wife still believe he exists.
This movie was really different from anything I have seen before. It is
one of those that can apply to anyone no matter what their beliefs are.
I lost a coach in a plane accident two years ago, and it really gave me
some hope to think she may still be there waiting. Separate
yourself from the plot for a minute, take some time to notice the
wonderful art, graphics, and special effects. They are definitely top
of the line.
This movie is great because of the art, fantasy, and romance. It was
definitely worth the money I spent to see it and has been added to my
personal "Top 10" list.

D.D.F., I like the fact that you responded to the article but be careful what you write. Whim will not tolerate any vulgar or inappropriate comments! When you leave a comment, make it an intelligent one. Thank you.

This comment is directed to Mister D.D.F. It must be such a thrill seeing your name on a web page. I'll bet you really get off on that. I have a recommendation for you. How about showing some respect for the two writers of this story who had to research the movie, and keep your filthy, unrelated comments to yourself? I don't mind hearing from you that the movie sucks. I don't even mind your comments about how you rate the movie. That's why this is called feedback. I do mind, however, when you insult the writers in this way. Be respectful, or get censored, as you now have been. I don't like censorship, but when you make comments like that, it brings the whole magazine a notch down to your crotch-humor level.

Cuba Gooding Jr.s is actually his son and that asian chick is actually his daughter. Did I tell you they died too? Also, everything works out in the end. Everyone is in heavon. No one is in hell- and robin williams and wife start over in another life and find each other again as little children.

Personally, I thought this movie was too sacarine. Charector devlopment was abismal, and Cuba Goodin just seemed to be streching to find a heartwarming roll. "show me the part where I get to hug and have feeling", he likley said. All together, I give it 1 pubic hair. (on a scale of 1 to 573832. so i got plenty left
