(Volunteer Opportunities)

            . Radford University’s dedicated constituency assists the university in  maintaining and improving upon our reputation as the university of Southwest Virginia in many ways. Volunteers provide support in Admissions, Chapter Activities, Career Networking, and Reunion Events. You can make a tremendous difference to RU by donating some of your valuable time to any of these areas.

Chapter Involvement

There are approximately 7 active chapters, all geographical based, in Virginia, North Carolina and Georgia. Chapters are a wonderful way to bring alumni together to share their RU enthusiasm, to support and strengthen the university, to recruit students, and to develop professional and leadership networks. If you wish to get involved with your local chapter, contact your chapter leader. If you are interested in starting a chapter in your area, contact Sandra Bond, Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs at 888-4RU-GRAD or 540-831-5248 via e-mail at smbond@radford.edu.

Through chapter involvement you can:

¨ Support the Admissions efforts in your area;
¨ Attend special social and educational functions with other dedicated alumni;
¨ Participate in projects that benefit your community;
¨ Network with other professionals;
