The graduate students in Psychology 612 (Psychometric Theory and Applications) need to collect data for their course projects and would very much appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to help them out.  They are required to design a new test about some skill, ability, feeling, attitude, belief or behavior; they must then administer the test and evaluate it.  The surveys you are about to take are concerned with your general abilities in giving evaluative feedback and managing conflict.  It would be greatly appreciated if you would complete these surveys in a timely manner.

Please follow the directions carefully for each test. All responses are anonymous and confidential.  Furthermore, there are no right or wrong answers.  Some of the questions are repetitive; this is typical in test development.  We need to get a range of responses to similar questions from a large number of people in order to examine the measurement qualities of the tests. Also, some of the questions may be somewhat personal in nature. For your own comfort please protect your answers on the screen from the view of others.

This study will take roughly thirty minutes to complete. Please do not complete this survey during working hours. As this is an online study it is necessary to complete the entire test as there is no method to return at a later time after closing the window. However, if you at any time become uncomfortable with answering the questions given you can chose to withdraw from the study by closing the Internet browser. At the end of this study you will be asked to confirm your submission. At this time you may also choose to withdraw.  In addition, this is a completely voluntary study. Participation or refusal to do so will in no way affect your position within your organization and no information regarding your results will be given to your employer. Please complete this study as soon as possible.

This test project has been approved by the Radford University Institutional Review Board.  If you have any questions about the tests, please contact, Kristina Singletary [540.831.3234], Alana Golden [540.831.2637] or Nora P.
