Global Economics & Business

This course was designed to provide students with an overview of today's global economic and business environment. It is divided into two parts. In the first part, I was introduced to the development and operation of the global economic system. I learned about the process of global economic integration, theories of international and investment, the effects of trade policies, regional trading areas, and the operation of the international monetary system. The second part of the course focused on the international business environment and organizations -- world geography, foreign political and legal systems, trade and investment policies, world cultures, and multinational corporations.
