Robert Goldberg and Mortimer Goldberg founded Air Movers in 1976. They set goals of high standards and strict tolerances as to the type of business we would evolve into over the years to come. Combined with a strong sheet metal background and the expertise of an ambitious and knowledgeable service department, Air Movers became a full service HVAC company.
The initial years proved very demanding in a tough market as they maintained to build customer relationships, many of which we still maintain today.
Robert’s foresight to bring goal-oriented people up through the ranks to further strengthen our organization has proven invaluable. We understand success depends on having quality, experienced people working toward common goals. Our management staff totals over 170 years of experience, while our field employee averages over 11 years experience. It is with great pride we can say that over 70% of our people have been with the company for fifteen years and more.
We sustain a controlled growth in the HVAC market focusing on our strengths. We are steadfast in specializing in small to medium commercial projects. Installations include plan & spec projects from day care facilities, churches and retail centers to light commercial office buildings. Design/build projects are negotiated with some of the areas foremost developers, builders and owners, which include office/warehouse build-outs to multi-story office buildings. Our Service department provides all of our installations with top shelf quality control and support that is reflected at the end result of every project we do. We continue to expand our Preventative Maintenance customer base, with plans aimed at meeting each site’s requirements, from basic maintenance to full-service plans. Air Movers structured itself for the Replacement market to serve those many customers with aging equipment.
