Use the "desktop" to find applications
Open and close applications , browser windows, etc.
Save work to various drives
Mount and dismount H drive / Server
Turn in work via WebCT

Understand the structure of your computer and network

Microsoft Windows systems - C drive (main internal hard drive) H drive (RU network space)
- H Drive has various folders, including
  - Mail
  - public_html (top level file is always index.html, next is index.htm )
  - dynamic_php (top level file is always index.php )
Apple OS X -- Hard drive (internal) -- Server
- Server space has various folders, including
  - Mail
  - public_html (top level file is always index.html, next is index.htm )
  - dynamic_php (top level file is always index.php)
