LODGING
Visit www.radford.edu/AboutRU/Lodging.html for area bed and breakfasts, hotels and motels.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Commencement is a special celebration for graduates and guests. To keep it enjoyable and meaningful for all, we ask that all graduates and members of the audience remain seated throughout the entire ceremony. Please be sensitive to your neighbors and do not obscure others’ view of the ceremony. Photography and other recording may be done only from the seating areas. We also ask that guests not approach the front of the auditorium for photographs as this area must be kept clear to ensure a smooth procession of individual graduates.
A professional photographer from Chappell Graduation Images will photograph each student shaking hands with President Kyle after receiving their degree certificate at the main comnencement ceremonies. A professional photographer will also be on hand for the Hooding Ceremony. Order forms for this service will be mailed to each graduate by Chappell shortly after the ceremonies.
WEATHER
Please be advised that barring severe inclement weather, the ceremonies will take place as scheduled. Any cancellation will be announced by 8 a.m. on Saturday on the university marquee on East Main Street, online at www.radford.edu and on Public Radio WVRU 89.9 FM.
