This is a picture of my daughter Kayla Oneal Steeves. She was born on January 1st, 2008 at 8:08am and weighed 8 pounds and 8 ounces. We brought her home from the hospital in this santa outfit.
Here's a picture of Kayla at 1 month. Yes, we spiked her hair because she's already a rockstar.
A picture of the K-bug at 2 months...yes we call her K-bug because...well...it just happened that way. Many more pictures to come.
She's 3 months old now and suddenly realized that someone just stunk up the bathroom. "Do you guys smell that?!?"
4 months old and she's taking baths in the kitchen sink. This is one of those pictures that never gets old.
Kooool kayla at 5 months. She looks so cool in this picture but the truth is you couldn't keep sunglasses on her for more that 3 seconds and she would rip them off or start yelling at you.
6 months....and food is everywhere.
She has here own ride now. It doesn't steer to well but it goes very fast very straight...like a drag racer. That's right, she's drag racing at 7 months.
She's CRAWLING! at 8 months...we're in trouble now.
High five time. For some reason that game never gets old with her. At 9 months Kayla is becoming more and more like a little person who can interact with you, communicate her feelings, and get into all sorts of trouble.
Kayla's favorite sippy cup!
Kaylas First steps at 10months and 15 days. We're in trouble now.
My little brother David can rock the guitar like nobody's business. I left for school in August one year and he was playing 'puff the magic dragon' on his aucustic guitar, when I came back for thanksgiving he was rocking out some Metallica with his electric. I wish I could learn to rock that fast.
Speaking of thanksgiving...that's why I'm not smiling in this picture...MY MOUTH IS FULL OF AWSOME FOOD.
David is "chillaxing"-when something is chill and relaxing.
Dr. Rick Steeves, aka Kayla's Grampa. I have the feeling he's excited about being a grampa though because when I told him we were prgnant he didn't say "uh-oh" or"oh crap", he simply said "why didn't you tell me earlier?"
Thanks for all the support.
Leslie Steeves, aka Kayla's Nana, is a certified nurse midwife, or in other words, she likes those babies. One of these days she's going to spoil Kayla rotten....if it hasn't already happened.
Kayla's great grandparents, Virginia and Warren Hunt. Who spend their time enjoying the luxuries of the west coast, like real beaches...I'm envious. I hope they can visit soon and get some time with Kayla.
Kayla's grandparents on my side. Looks like they a good diner...I'm wondering what kind of brew that is...maybe a pilsner?
