The Radford University Greek community is comprised of twenty-eight fraternities and sororities. The organizations fall under the governance of four different coordinating councils - Interfraternity Council (IFC), National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations Council (NALFO), National Panhellenic Council (NPHC), and Panhellenic Council (PHC).

The Greek community of Radford University will aspire to the high ideals, tenets and traditions of the founders of their respective organizations by instilling amongst its members the true meaning of brotherhood and sisterhood and by compelling others, by their actions, in promoting a greater society and culture through their organizational association, thereby enhancing the educational mission of the University

26. Hazing, encouraging, facilitating or allowing hazing by any organization or by any individual on behalf of an organization or group (recognized or not recognized by the university), of an individual, organization, or visitor with the Radford University community. Hazing is any action or situation requiring inappropriate behavior, creating an atmosphere of servitude, or allowing potentially dangerous, demeaning, humiliating, ridiculing or degrading activities regardless of intent or consent of the participant(s), by a group(s) or a member of a group(s) on an individual as part of membership or as part of initiation.

The National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations, Inc. is the newest council of Greek Life governing the Latino fraternal organization on campus.

The National Pan-Hellenic Council is the governing body for the nine historically African American sororities and fraternities on campus.

The Panhellenic Council is the governing body for the seven NPC sororities on campus.
