Bondurant Auditorium
Bondurant Auditorium, located in Preston Hall is a performance facility on the campus of Radford University. Total seating capacity is 1500. The main floor can accommodate 1091 individuals. The balcony seats 409.
Many different events sponsored by various organizations and departments are held in Preston during the year. These programs include Music Department recitals, Dance Department performances, concerts by university groups as well as well-known artists, touring opera companies, and lectures. Well-known performers who have graced the stage include Branford Marsalis, Doc Watson, the New York City Opera National Company, and the London City Opera.
The stage has a 27 lineset rigging system, a lighting system, and two sound systems. Specific technical information can be obtained from Doug Mead, Technical Director of Bondurant Auditorium.
