Sexual
Harassment is unwelcome
conduct of a sexual nature which interferes with the education or work of
others.
Examples of
Sexual Harassment may
include:
- Subtle or
not so subtle pressure for sexual activity

Unnecessary brushes or touches
- Offensive
sexual graffiti
- Jokes or
disparaging remarks that degrade someone’s gender as a whole
- Unwelcome
attempted or actual kissing or fondling
- Coerced
sexual intercourse, where coercion is implied or threatened
- Whistling
- Obscene
gestures
- Requests
for sexual favors in exchange for a better grade, promotion, etc.
- Action
taken against a person in retaliation for reporting sexual harassment
If you
believe that you are or have been sexually harassed:

Understand that it is not your fault
- Report it
to someone who can discuss this situation knowledgeably
- Do not be
intimidated by the threat of retaliation
