Red is the official color of Radford University. Use Pantone® 186 for red.

RU red can be produced in four-color process using the following formula:
C=10, M=100, Y=90, K=0.

Times New Roman is the recommended typeface family for text within university communications.

As part of its graphic identity, Radford University recommends all e-mail signatures consist of the following information:
  • Name
  • Title
  • Radford University
  • Campus Location
  • Telephone Number
  • Fax Number
  • University or Departmental Website

Because the University’s technology is supplied by the Commonwealth of Virginia, the University does not permit the use of slogans, quotations or other non-University related information as part of the e-mail signature. Additionally, the University does not permit e-mail that includes patterned backgrounds or photograph files.
