PHYS 111:112 Labs

These will be posted the weekend before the labs (since we are constantly editing these). Print them out before you come to the lab. There is a computer lab down the hall from the physics lab. The physics lab is in Reed Hall 119. The computer lab is Curie Hall 147.
  • Lab 1: Superposition and reflection of pulses, January 29.
  • Lab 2: Reflection and Transmission, February 5.
  • No lab: exam review, February 12
  • Lab 3: Electric fields and forces, February 19. Bring your computers to lab.
  • Lab 4: Building a model for electric circuits, February 26.
  • Lab 5: Current and voltage, March 5.
  • Lab 6: Resistance and capacitance, March 19.
  • Lab 7: Magnetic Forces and Fields, April 2.
  • Lab 8: Magnetic Induction, April 9.
  • Lab 9: Wavelength of visible light, April 16.
  • Lab 10: Atomic spectra, April 30. We will also be grading the wiring projects--I will have that gradesheet for you.
