Your Role as a Safe Zone Member

VISIBILITY: This is your main role. You are expected to post your Safe Zone sticker in a visible area.

SUPPORT: An important aspect of the program is to provide support to GLBT people.

RESOURCES: Part of this training is to provide you with additional resources that you may provide to those people who choose to approach you.

REFERRALS: You are not expected to be an expert and to handle all of the problems on your own. Remember to utilize the resources of the campus and refer students and colleagues when appropriate.
